However, Official GRO index for son's birth lists it as Bucken
Looking at her marriage certificate it could be either.

The big question is who was his father?
In the 1851 census he is listed as Swaebe, his step-father's name.
His mother married David Swaebe in 1844 after her husband Isaac Ben Moya died in Dec 1843.

'Houser' is apparently a nickname. It was used by his son John when placing a death notice in the Jewish Chronicle.

3 Jacobs children are living with James & Emma Gaston and listed as Nurse Child.
Of the three, only Leah matches in name
Emanuel matches the age for Jacob and Adelaide matches the age for Adeline.
There is no apparant link with the other Jacobs families in the area either in 1871 or 1881 but this obviously doesn't prove anything.
For this reason it should not be assumed that this information is totally correct.

Looking for Evelyn M marrying a Sayer between 1914 & 1932 (Age 16 to marriage with Byron)
1915 Q3 - George S Sayer = Evelyn M Pitman or Evelyn M Marryat (neither of these born 1898-1899)


There is only one birth entry for an Evelyn M Sayer in the range 1895-1905 an that is
