This website originated because a small group of distant cousins were emailing each other regarding their research into their Jacobs ancestors. It centres on the search for descendents of David Jacobs (Litzen).
The Jacobs were known for being in the glass business.

Henry Jacobs
Henry Jacobs was the son of Samuel Jacobs, who had been transported to Tasmania in 1833, and Fanny Matilda Gomm. He was born in Hobart in 1849 and moved to New Zealand with his parents in the early 1860's.
Philip Morris Jacobs
Philip was born in Winnipeg in 1888. The family moved to the UK somewhere between his birth and 1891. He served in WW1 and was gassed in 1918 and then invalided back to England.
