1451 In 1950 Alice filled in an application form to obtain a copy of her birth certificate. From stamps on the form it appears that it was presented to the GRO at Somerset House.
However I believe that it might have been returned because the birth could not be found.

In the application Alice gives us chapter and verse but there is no entry in the GRO indexes that match, nor can I find one under the name Twine which is the other possibility.

1454 In Berger 1861-1870 lists her as Mrs Benjamin.
Marriage must be before mother died in 1869
This is the only one that fits with known daughters of Eve & Wolf
Also, Electoral register for 1858 places Abraham Benjamin at 128 Strand
This is where Eve Simmonds died.
Family: Abraham BENJAMIN / Rebecca SIMMONDS (F2007)

1455 In Berger 1871-1880 extracts I found the following chain.

1879
Mrs C Levy widow of David Levy of 14 Hemmings Row

This entry is referenced by:-
1878
Mrs Moss Davids
Refers to Mrs C Levy as sister in law

And by:
1872
Anne Davids + Moss Davids (brother and sister)
Refers to Mrs C Levy as sister
And Mr David Levy as brother in law.

Both of the entries imply that Catherine is a sister to both Moss and Anne Davids.

Based on this I had Catherine as being born Catherine Davids.

1461 In October 1910 Theresa again petitioned for a divorce from Sydney.
This time the divorce went the full distance with the Decree Nisi being issued on 8th May 1911 and Decree Absolute on 20th November 1911.
The document is a massive 407 pages long (many of which are repetitious) and for that reason a copy is not attached but the following abstract should suffice.

Observations
Robert Cecil Jacobs (their son) shall remain in Theresa's custody.

A copy of David Jacobs' will is introduced - David was Sydney's father
The facing page refers to it as "This is the copy of the will and codicil referenced to in the ??? of Sydney Jacobs."

Outcomes
Sydney to pay Theresa ?50 a year during her life
In 1943 Theresa was granted a gross annual income of ?279 in addition to the ?50 p.a. granted in 1912

1464 In the 1841 census where it is not possible to confirm the relationship, Isabella is living with Moses and Hannah Jacobs and would at first glance appear to be their daughter.

However in a Removal Order of 1844 we learn that she is the illegitimate daughter of Maria Jacobs who has apparantly desered her.
