711 | Bowral Free Press - 03 Aug 1895 ===================== Mr Samson Jacobs - A well-known local identity - Samson Jacobs - died at his residence, Bendooley Street, on Thursday morning. Mr Jacobs, who had been ill for many weeks, and in a state of unconsciousness for about a fortnight, passed peacefully away at the ripe age of 76. He was born in London, and arrived in the colony about 30 years ago. The day of his death was the 12th anniversary of his arrival at Mittagong, where he lived some time before coming to Bowral. During his illness he was attended by Dr. Fisher, the cause of death being paralysis. He leaves a widow and a family of young children. The interment took place in the General Cemetery yesterday afternoon. Mr. Moss being the undertaker. The Rev. Gerard D'Arcy-Irvine officiating. | JACOBS, Sampson (I4785)

Miss Braham is at the Samaritan Hospital for Women, Lisburn Road, Belfast and will be pleased to hear from all old friends. "World's Fair" - Feb 24th 1912 page 4 We are pleased to hear that Miss Annie Braham is progressing favourably and wishes to thank all friends for their cheering letters and good wishes and Miss Baker for handsome dressing jacket. She is unable to reply personally but will do so as early as possible. "World's Fair" - March 2nd 1912 Miss Annie Braham who has been an inmate of the Samaritans Hospital,Lisburn Road, Belfast for some weeks underwent an operation on Wednesday last, and we are pleased to hear is progressing as well as can be expected. She will not of course be able to reply to the many letters for some time to come. According to Maureen (Carney) the Brahams were living in New Brighton at the time she met Alfred Godfrey.
