The only extra information on these documents other than what is described in the catalogue are the names of those who witnessed the signing. The 1804 document is witnessed by Lewis Pesman. The 1830 document is witnessed by Nathaniel Carter. No further family history details are given. It basically says that they had printing presses at the addresses stated and are applying for a licence in accordance with the act of the 39th year of King George the third, for the more effective suppression of seditious or treacherous societies.
