According to Maureen the Brahams were living in New Brighton at the timeshe met Alfred Godfrey. They continued to live there during the war.

According to an email from Anthony Braham in March 2009 Eileen was married twice, first to a Mr Pate and then to Elwyn Churchill.
When she married Churchill she is indexed as both Pate and Braham as he maiden name which tends to confirm Anthony's story.
