Not a major update but a couple of small additions.

Updated information:

Added 1881 & 1901 census for family of David Heller  & Jane Jacobs

Jane Jacobs (Heller) died Q2 1907

Frederick Stafford Fairclough – 1911 census as Student in Teacher Training College

Also 1901 with his parents and cousin Ethel M Curr

Added a first wife (Elizabeth Mackenzie Daniel) for Lionel Goldsmid (husband of Catherine (Kate)Hart)

Also found that he  was a Captain in the Merchant Navy

Corrected an error in the ‘Jotting’ Samuel & Lawrence Jacobs which had Samuel marrying twice in Australia when one marriage was in Australia and the other in New Zealand – thanks to June Keating for picking this up.

1911 Census for Walter Guy Rayne, also marriage certificate.

Originally his wife was listed as Elizabeth Sparks, now corrected to Louisa Elizabeth Sparks

Also note that Louisa Elizabeth’s birth is recorded as Elizabeth Louisa

Father added for both of them.

Also added a brother, Harry, for Walter

1911 Census for Henry Rossner

Also confirmed that his second wife was Marion Nathan

I’m afraid that that’s the end of my research into the 1911 census for now – I only took out a 6 month subscription and it would appear that Ancestry aren’t going to get it this year.

June Keating contacted me recently to say that she had just made a visit to Hobart and spent time in the Tasmanian Archives looking on information on Henry Gomm and Samuel Jacobs. I’m happy to report that she found plenty and is busy transcribing the information ready for the website.
